This report aims to add to the existing research, thinking, and evidence that surrounds the subject of criminalising reckless HIV transmission on people living with HIV by understanding what it means for people today.
With advancements in treatment meaning that 98% of people living with HIV in the UK cannot pass the virus on, we wanted to find out how the continued impact of criminalising HIV transmission is felt among people living with HIV, at a time when we could be just a few years from ending new HIV transmissions in the UK.
