Professor Jane Anderson

Jane was appointed Chair of National AIDS Trust in 2016. Jane has extensive experience of HIV in the UK, having worked as a clinician and researcher in the field since the 1980s. She is currently consultant physician at both Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and at Barts health NHS Trust and holds honorary academic appointments at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and at University College London. Having worked with Public Health England, NHS England and as a visiting Fellow of the King’s Fund, Jane has developed a deep understanding of the public policy aspects of HIV. Jane has board-level experience in charitable organisations, as a past chair of the British HIV Association as well as holding other trustee board positions. Jane is a Senior Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.

Dr Alessandro Ceccarelli (he/him)

Dr Alessandro Ceccarelli (he/him)

Alessandro is an expert in policy development, research, campaigns, and advocacy, with a focus on advancing LGBTQ+ rights, human rights, and HIV response. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he also held a leadership position in the Student Union.

He has led significant equality initiatives, including the LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales and the HIV Action Plan for Wales. Formerly the Head of LGBTQ+ Policy for the Welsh Government, he now serves as a Trustee for the National AIDS Trust, for the LGBT Consortium, and is a non-executive director of University of South Wales, College Merthyr.

For 14 years, he has been a vocal advocate, particularly for LGBTQ+ rights and ending new HIV transmissions in Italy, Spain, India, England, and Wales. He is a member of Fast Track Cardiff & Vale Steering Committee – an initiative to end new HIV transmissions by 2030.

Gary Christie

Gary Christie

Gary has over 15 years’ experience in senior management in the third sector.

Currently he is Head of Policy, Communications & Communities at Scottish Refugee Council, Scotland’s national refugee charity with responsibility for the charity’s policy, research, communications, community development and public affairs functions. He is a member of the European Council on Refugees and Exiles.

He previously worked as a language teacher and Director of Studies in language centres in France, Russia and Denmark. He has an MSc in Human Rights and Citizenship and has sat on the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations’ Policy Committee.

Stephen Crampton-Hayward

Stephen Crampton-Hayward

Stephen chairs the Finance and General Purposes Committee of the National AIDS Trust. With a degree in Finance and Economics his career has focused on Charity Administration and Governance. He currently offers strategic finance and governance consultancy support through his company, Bluejay Enterprises Ltd, having stepped down as Director of Finance and Corporate Services for WorldSkills UK in September 2022. Prior to this he was Managing Director of the Whitechapel Gallery, having worked primarily in arts charities through his over 25-year career, including the Serpentine Gallery, the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith and the Central School of Ballet.

In a voluntary capacity, Stephen is also currently Deputy Chair and Treasurer of Paintings in Hospitals and was Chair of the Board of Trustees of Discover Story Centre in East London until December 2021.

Ceri Edwards

Ceri Edwards

Ceri has spent the last 25 years working in the public and third sectors and is currently Executive Director of Change at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and President of the European Fundraising Association.

He is a former BBC political producer, and started his campaigning career with human rights group Liberty. He has also worked for the Citizenship Foundation, Action for Children and the BBC Children in Need appeal. He has held senior communication and policy roles at London Councils, the Local Government Association and the People’s Health Trust.

He is a former volunteer and trustee at Switchboard LGBT, Survivors UK, Empty Homes Agency and AvMa, the charity for patient safety and justice.

Andrew Hochhauser KC

Andrew Hochhauser KC

Andrew is a KC at Essex Court Chambers, a Harmsworth scholar, Bencher and former Treasurer of Middle Temple, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Deputy High Court Judge, ticketed in the Chancery, King’s Bench Division and the London Circuit Commercial Court. He specialises in commercial and employment litigation, with a substantial court and advisory practice. For over 25 years he has been highly recommended by all the legal directories in both commercial dispute resolution and employment.  As well as National AIDS Trust, he is also on the boards of several other charities, including the Samuel Courtauld Trust (which he chairs), Ballet Black and Aurora Orchestra. He is a Governor of the University of the Arts London and chairs the Reviewing Committee for the Export of Works of Art.

Angelina Namiba

Angelina Namiba

Angelina has over 26 years of experience working in the HIV sector on different initiatives ranging from providing one-to-one support to people living with HIV, treatment and research advocacy, and managing service delivery to facilitating, promoting and advocating for the meaningful involvement of women living with HIV in forming and informing local and national strategy and policy. Living with HIV for 30 years, she is a founder member of the 4M Network of Mentor Mothers , and a co-author/editor of the book Our Stories Told By Us: celebrating the African contribution to the UK HIV response. Angelina is a member of various national and international steering/advisory boards.

Peter Roscrow

Peter Roscrow

Peter Roscrow is a Chartered Accountant and management consultant. He spent the majority of his career at Close Brothers Group creating a property fund management business which grew to have over £1 billion of funds under management before leaving to set up his own property advisory business.

Over the last 14 years he has been a Director, Trustee or Advisor to several charities including housing associations and education/health related organisations. He was previously Chair of The Food Chain, and is currently a trustee of the Bell Foundation and Brook Young People.

David Sparks

David Sparks

David Sparks is a Chartered Management Accountant and Economics graduate. During his 35-year career he has worked in the UK, France and Central and South America for listed UK companies in the manufacturing and e-commerce sectors. Between 2014 and 2017, he was the Chief Financial Officer of AIM companies and since 2018 has worked as part-time Chief Financial Officer and strategy advisor for UK software development and aviation sector start-ups.

Dr Ann Sullivan

Dr Ann Sullivan

Ann is an Honorary HIV consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College. She has extensive research experience with particular focus on HIV testing, PrEP and HIV-specific PROMs (patient reported outcomes measures). She has recently completed a secondment to UKHSA, leading their national HIV surveillance and is involved nationally and internationally in HIV guideline production, audit and the development of HIV Care Standards. Her board experience includes past membership of BHIVA Executive (Secretary) and BASHH Board, and she is currently the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) Secretary and clinical advisor to the Sophia Forum.
