Trusts and foundations

Time to read

We are so grateful for the support we receive from charitable trusts, foundations and institutional funders. Many of our groundbreaking projects in ending HIV and fighting stigma have only been made possible thanks to the support of grant makers.

Receiving unrestricted funding from some trusts and foundations is also extremely precious as it gives us much needed stability and flexibility in carrying out our vital mission.

What you can expect from us

We value every grant funder that we work with.

We will report back on the impact of your donation as we continually monitor and evaluate all our projects and programmes. This way you will know your funding is making a huge difference to the HIV community. We’ll keep you up-to-date on our latest research, publications and news stories.

We will also recognise your gift in our Annual Report and Accounts and Impact Report unless you wish to remain anonymous.

Featured projects

Discrimination advice service

Funded by National Lottery Reaching Communities England. We are so grateful to the National Lottery which has awarded three years’ funding so that we can provide advice and support to people living with or affected by HIV who have faced discrimination. This service is confidential and free of charge. It is the only service of its kind.

HIV Confident

funded by Fast Track Cities  Working in partnership with Positively UK, we have three years’ funding from Fast Track Cities to establish and run HIV Confident. This is a charter mark which aims to reduce HIV stigma in member organisations, who commit to ensuring that people living with HIV can access their services, and work for them, without fear of discrimination.

Influencing restrictions on the right to work

Funded by the Evan Cornish Foundation. We know that hostile environment policies have a profoundly negative impact on the health and wellbeing of migrants who are living with HIV. The Evan Cornish Foundation are funding us for a year to influence the restrictions on people seeking asylum being able to work and earn an income.
