Professor Jane Anderson CBE

Jane was appointed Chair of National AIDS Trust in 2016. Jane has extensive experience of HIV in the UK, having worked as a clinician and researcher in the field since the 1980s. She is currently consultant physician at both Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and at Barts health NHS Trust and holds honorary academic appointments at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and at University College London. Having worked with Public Health England, NHS England and as a visiting Fellow of the King’s Fund, Jane has developed a deep understanding of the public policy aspects of HIV. Jane has board-level experience in charitable organisations, as a past chair of the British HIV Association as well as holding other trustee board positions. Jane is a Senior Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.
