We proudly present National AIDS Trust’s Drag Raise fundraising initiative. The lights are up, the stage is set…and everyone’s invited.

Drag as an art form has always been a powerful tool for self-expression and activism. The drag community has historically played an important role in HIV activism, challenging HIV-related stigma, as well as being a source of strength, relief, and support for communities living with, and affected by, HIV throughout the epidemic.

So we would like to invite you to celebrate drag culture in style, and join a movement to raise funds for our work. Together we can end new HIV transmissions by 2030 and stamp out HIV stigma… with heels on.

Drag Raise flagship event 2025

Our second annual night of drag, community, glamour and fundraising took place in central London on 3 July.

Hosted by the iconic powerhouse Ginger Johnson, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5, and featuring incredible performances from the gorgeous Tayce, Sue Pertrouper’s HIV activism and the return of the hilarious king Häns Off, with Just May announcing the lucky luxury raffle winners and DJ Mynxie on the decks, it proved to be even more glamorous and fun-packed than last year.

A huge thank you to our corporate sponsors Diageo and MAC Cosmetics for their support, without which Drag Raise couldn’t happen. And thanks to everyone who came along and partied with us!

Drag Raise 2024

On 18 July 2024 we held our first Drag Raise flagship event at the central London’s glamourous Luminist Bar. A sensational night of drag, dancing and activism, our event was hosted by drag superstar Cheddar Gorgeous and featured the talents of drag stars Vanity Milan, Ella Vaday, Häns Off and Daisy Puller. We’d like to thank our corporate sponsors Diageo and MAC Cosmetics for their support and everyone who attended.

Thank you to Booths of London who provided the fantastic ring light photobooth for guests at our Drag Raise event. Their sister company, Showtime Photo Booth also provides 360 photo booth hire services in London.
