The Welsh Government has been a leader in the HIV response, with new HIV diagnoses decreasing by 75% between 2015 and 2021.2 In 2023, the Government published a bold HIV Action Plan for Wales 2023-2026 which seeks to support the Government’s 2030 HIV elimination commitment and tackle HIV-related stigma.
The report considers key components for having a good health-related quality of life (HRQoL) highlights impactful projects and puts forward key recommendations to deliver the HIV Action Plan.
