We proudly present National AIDS Trust’s new fundraising initiative, Drag Raise. The lights are up, the stage is set…and everyone’s invited.
Drag as an art form has always been a powerful tool for self-expression and activism. The drag community has historically played an important role in HIV activism, challenging HIV-related stigma, as well as being a source of strength, relief, and support for communities living with, and affected by, HIV throughout the epidemic.
This year we’re asking you to celebrate drag culture in style, and join a movement to raise funds for our work, so that together we can end new HIV transmissions by 2030 and stamp out HIV stigma…with heels on.
Drag Raise flagship event 2025
After last year’s incredibly special event, we are delighted to be bringing our flagship Drag Raise fundraiser back to central London on 3 July 2025.
This year we are thrilled to announce that our host will be the iconic Ginger Johnson, the powerhouse drag performer and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5. With more top drag talent to be announced soon, you can expect it to be to be even more glamorous, hilarious and fun-packed than the incredible evening that was enjoyed by so many last year. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!

Bimini said: “Madonna, one of the biggest pop stars of all time, has always been a true ally for the community and spoke out about HIV and AIDS at a time when compassion and understanding was non-existent. The work National AIDS Trust has done and continues to do is revolutionary, so this was a no-brainer. I’m thrilled to play a small part in the prolific work they do.”
This collaboration, part of our Drag Raise campaign, really is a dream come true. Thank you so much to Bimini and Everpress for making it happen.
