  • Published: 10/04/2025

This 3-part webinar series is for anyone working in HIV support services who wants to feel more confident spotting, challenging, and understanding HIV-related discrimination.

  • Part 1: What is Discrimination? – This webinar will cover an overview of the Equality Act, different types of discrimination and how it can manifest in different contexts (healthcare, employment, private services).
  • Part 2: Standing Up to Discrimination – This webinar will cover practical tips on what to do if you are supporting people who are dealing with discrimination, how to challenge it and where to go for further support
  • Part 3: Privacy Matters – This webinar will give a broad overview of privacy rights in relation to people living with HIV and how to support someone whose data has been breached.

Join us for one, two, or all three sessions— each one offers insights on its own, but together they give a fuller picture of HIV discrimination and how to address it.
